OUR RESPONSE TO COVID-19
In order to protect our staff and volunteers and following the UK Government's latest advice to the public to avoid contact in social spaces including pubs, clubs, venues & theatres, to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus, all City Food Share events will be postponed until further notice.
City Food Share have launched an emergency text appeal and are continuing fundraising to help
purchase food, toiletries and essentials for vulnerable and isolated people in
Brighton. Emergency food services are reliant on donations during this time of
crisis. We need to ensure the organisations we support can continue to purchase
essential items to meet demand.
Fair Share and the Brighton Centre will remain central points of distribution and all the local food banks will continue their operations to the capacity they are able during this time.
All Donations will help ensure isolated and vulnerable people have access to food, antibacterial products, toiletries and living essentials during this difficult time.
Thank you to
all our staff, volunteers, Tap and Share host partners, musicians, bands and
venue hosts for your support over the past 4 months, we hope to continue working
together to develop our community after this crisis.
